Children's Activity
An activity that my grandchildren really enjoy is A Bubble Inside a Bubble.
Mix: 1 cup warm water
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs dish detergent
Stir gently until sugar is dissolved. The solution can be used right away but it is best to let it sit overnight.
On a clean, smooth table rub some of the bubble solution on the table. Dip a straw into the bubble solution and blow bubbles on the table. How many bubbles within a bubble can you make?
Crafting Tip
I like to use a cookie tray for my jewellery projects. I put a piece of felt on the tray to stop beads from rolling around. I can keep all my supplies and tools on the tray and it is portable so if I am working on the dining room table I can easily move it to another room at dinner time.
Recycle For Crafts
I like to reuse plastic containers from fast food places for craft projects. They come in different sizes . Bring home the container. Wash well in warm soapy water and let dry. Perfect for holding small projects - easily portable.
I also like to use the cardboard from case lots of tins for holding supplies all in one place.
