CLASSES OFFERED
Currently classes are on hold. Classes will resume in January 2026.
Classes are available for adults and for children. All classes are held in Maple Ridge at the Ceed Centre, the Seniors' Centre or in Lavender Designs studio. It can be arrange for classes to be offered in your home or place of business (additional charge may apply). Most classes are two hours in length and include all the supplies you need to complete your project. Tools are available for use in the class room.

Adult Classes
Jewellery Basics
Learn basic techniques (design, stringing, crimping, attaching findings) and make a necklace or bracelet and a pair of earrings. Cost: $75.00. All supplies provided.
Stretchy Bracelets
Learn techniques (colour theory, design, stringing, knotting and hiding the knot), Make 3 beaded bracelets using stretch cord. Cost $65.00. All supplies provided.
Just Earrings
Make your own earrings, customized to your preference. Make three pairs of earrings in different styles. Cost $50.00. All supplies provided.
Viking Knit
Learn the ancient technique of Viking Knit and make a bracelet. Cost $55. All supplies provided.
Felted Bead Bracelet
Learn to make felt beads using wool roving, decorate the beads with needle felting then string together to make a unique bracelet. Cost $60.00. All supplies provided.
Welcome to Knitting
Progress at your own pace. Choose your project or bring your own. Learn knit and purl stitches, then move on to combining stitches and how to read a pattern. Cost $55.00. All supplies provided.
Welcome to Crochet
Progress at your own pace. Choose your project or bring your own. Learn single crochet, half double and double crochet stitches, then move on to combining stitches and how to read a pattern. Cost $55.00. All supplies provided.
Working with Seed Beads: Peyote Stitch
Learn peyote stitch using delica beads and to make a pair of earrings or a pendant. Cost $45.00. All supplies provided.
Zentangle
.Zentangle is an easy to learn and a fun way to make beautiful images. Zentangle can help reduce stress, is very calming and meditative. It is a very specific method of making structured patterns one stroke at a time. In this class learn several Zentangles to make a greeting card or picture for framing. Cost $50.00. All supplies provided.
Adjustable Bracelets
Learn to create a bracelet that fits your wrist by stringing beads on cord with a macrame closure. Cost $50.00 Alll supplies provided.
Children's Classes
Intro to ART
Want to expose your child to various art forms but not artsy yourself. In this class the child will have fun with painting, drawing, collage and clay. Four classes 2.0 hours each. All supplies provided. Available in July or August. Cost $250.
Learn to Crochet
Learn chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet stitches and make a small purse. All supplies provided. Ages 8 and up. Cost $35.00.
Welcome to Knitting
Learn casting on, knit and purl stitches and casting off and make a small purse. All supplies provided. Ages 8 and up. Cost $35.00.
Daisy Chain Bracelet
Make a daisy chain bracelet using seed beads or e-beads. All supplies provided. Ages 8 and up. Cost $35.00.
Harry Potter World
Is your child into Harry Potter. In this class we will make a Harry Potter wand and decorate a spell book. Cost $40.00
Stretch Bracelets
Make 3 beaded bracelets using stretch cord. All supplies provided. Cost $40.00.
